HydroVAC operator | Full time
Location: Alberta, On the Road.. because we like our office with a view
Wage: $30.00-$38.00/hour based on experience and 3 month probationary period
Per Diem: $200 per day or LOA
Work Rotation: 21 work days / 7 non-work days
Hours: Typically 10-12 hour work days
Responsibilities:
Operate hydrovac equipment to perform excavation tasks
Performing thorough pre and post-trip inspections
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Proactively maintain equipment, ensuring our hydrovacs are as pristine as our communication lines
Handle construction materials and remove debris from work sites
Complete all necessary daily paperwork
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) on all job sites
Identify, assess, and report hazards in accordance with company policy
Undertake duties beyond those listed, as required
Qualifications:
Mandatory: Min. Class 3 license with air endorsement and 2+ years experience operating a hydrovac
Current safety tickets including CSTS 2020, First Aid, Ground Disturbance are considered an asset. Additional compulsory company safety course will be provided prior to work start
Physical prowess: If lifting 50+ pounds is your warm-up, you're the one we want.
Knowledge of ground disturbance procedures
Prior experience in construction projects and telecommunications is an asset
Demonstrated commitment to prioritizing health and safety

HDD Driller/Locator | Full time
Location: Alberta, On the Road.. because we like our office with a view
Wage: $25.00-$38.00/hour based on experience and 3 month probationary period
Per Diem: $200 per day or LOA
Work Rotation: 21 work days / 7 non-work days
Hours: Typically 10-12 hour work days
Responsibilities:
Operate the Locator for precise utility locating
Collaborate with the Driller to plan the bore path, identifying potential issues
Maintain clear communication with the Driller throughout the drill shot, ensuring safe and efficient completion of work
Install underground conduit prioritizing public safety and protecting underground facilities
Performing thorough pre and post-trip inspections
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Accurately interpret utility locates, coordinate permits, and ensure locates are in hand
Read and comprehend blueprints and work orders
Complete all necessary daily paperwork
Undertake duties beyond those listed, as required
Qualifications:
Mandatory: Min. Class 5 driver’s license and 2+ year’s experience in Locating and HDD Drilling
Experience with Vermeer Drills and Digitrax Locator
Demonstrated commitment to prioritizing health and safety
Excellent written and communication skills
Physical prowess: If lifting 50+ pounds is your warm-up, you're the one we want
Experienced in fibre optic installation.
Knowledgeable about ground disturbance procedures
Current safety tickets including CSTS 2020, First Aid, Ground Disturbance are considered an asset. Additional compulsory company safety course will be provided prior to work start

Skilled Labourer | Full time

Salary: $20.00-$28.00/based on experience and 3 month probationary period

Work Rotation: 21 work days / 7 non-work days
Hours: Typically 10-12 hour work days
Responsibilities:
Lifting and transporting heavy equipment and materials
Operating power tools and other machinery
Assisting in the installation and termination of fiber optic cables
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials around the site
Executing traffic control plans and directing traffic when necessary
Organizing and keeping the work site free of clutter, rubble, and garbage
Promoting and adhering to the company’s safety program
Undertake duties beyond those listed, as required
Qualifications:
Willingness to work in all weather conditions
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical prowess: If lifting 50+ pounds is your warm-up, you're the one we want
Current safety tickets including CSTS 2020, First Aid, Ground Disturbance are considered an asset. Additional compulsory company safety course will be provided prior to work start
Experience in underground utility construction or fiber optic installation is beneficial but not mandatory.

Fibre Optic Cable Splicer | Full time

Responsibilities:
Conduct pre and post-work inspections
Stick to our company policies
Perform fiber optic splicing and fusion to ensure high-quality connections
Keep our equipment in tiptop shape so our connections are as smooth as butter
Accurate completion of daily paperwork
Ability to work independently for long periods of time
Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Identify, assess, and report hazards as per company policy
Qualifications:
Essential: Previous fiber optic splicing experience
Minimum Class 5 drivers license
Current safety tickets including CSTS 2020, First Aid, Ground Disturbance are considered an asset. Additional compulsory company safety course will be provided prior to work start.
Familiarity with round disturbance procedures
